Printing & supplies

How much does it cost to print a poster at school?

About $1.30 in ink and paper for a full-color 24″ × 36″ poster on standard matte, and up to about $2.84 on premium paper, compared with $20 or more at a print shop. See cost to print school posters.

What is the best program for designing school posters?

Canva is the most popular choice for schools: it’s free for teachers and has thousands of templates. You can also use Google Slides, PowerPoint or our poster software. Follow our step-by-step Canva poster guide.

How do you make a school poster?

Define the purpose and audience, start from a template, set the size (24″ × 36″ is standard), use a clear headline and high-quality images, add a call to action, export as PDF Print, then print on your poster maker.

Can I print from a flash drive?

What size is a standard poster?

24″ wide by 36″ tall. See our school poster size guide.

Matte is best for everyday classroom posters and costs least (about $1.30–$1.55 per 24″ × 36″). Premium or glossy paper costs more (up to about $2.84) and suits photos, events and long-term displays. Shop poster printer supplies. Compare every type in our poster printer paper guide.

How many posters does a roll of paper make?

It depends on the paper. Most matte and photo rolls are 100 feet, production matte poster paper is 300 feet, bond rolls are 150 or 300 feet, and canvas rolls are 50 feet. See our poster printer paper guide.
