Question 1

What is a school poster maker machine?

Accepted Answer

An Education Graphics Poster Maker™ is a poster making machine built for schools: a wide-format printer packaged with EGS Software, templates, ink, paper, training and a 3-year warranty. It is Canva-ready, so teachers can print designs they already use.

Question 2

What can schools print with poster printers for schools?

Accepted Answer

Anchor charts, word walls, PBIS expectations, STEM and science fair posters, hallway and safety signage, event posters and banners. Teachers print them the same day a lesson changes instead of waiting on a print shop. See 100 ways schools use a poster maker.

Question 3

Why do schools print posters in-house instead of ordering from a print shop?

Accepted Answer

Speed and control. A 24×36 poster printed in-house costs a fraction of what a local print shop charges (see the cost to print school posters), and staff can fix or reprint a poster in minutes. Read our in-house vs. outsourced posters breakdown.

Question 4

Can we buy with a purchase order or TIPS?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Email or fax your purchase order and your machine ships within 24 hours of receiving it. We are on TIPS contract #240804. You can submit a purchase order online.

Question 5

Can Title I funds pay for a poster printing machine?

Accepted Answer

Many schools use Title I funds when the purchase supports the instructional needs in their Title I plan. Check with your federal programs office, and see our Title I funding guide.

Question 6

Can one machine serve the whole school?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Education Graphics Poster Maker™ supports wireless workgroup printing, so teachers and staff can print from classrooms, offices and the library on Chromebooks, iPads and Windows or Mac computers. Districts equipping several buildings can see how to plan a multi-building rollout.

Question 7

Can teachers use a poster printer without technical training?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Templates, Canva printing and scan-to-print are made for teachers, and training is included with every package.

Question 8

How long does setup take?

Accepted Answer

It is plug-and-play: it sets up in under 30 minutes, and training is included with every package.

Question 9

Can teachers print wirelessly from their classroom?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The printer connects to your school Wi-Fi, so teachers and staff can print from a laptop or classroom computer, including Canva-ready templates.
