Durable Outdoor Poly Paper

Weather-resistant synthetic stock in 150-foot rolls. Made for field signage, banners, carnival and sports day displays, and anything that lives outside.
24″ · 36″Peel & stick

Poly Paper with Adhesive Back

The same durable poly stock with a peel-and-stick backing, for wall graphics, floor decals, and hallway wayfinding that goes up without tape or frames.

Which Paper Is Best for Classroom Posters?

Coated is the everyday school roll: color pops, about 40 posters per 24″ × 100′ roll. Bond is the budget option for drafts and worksheets. Photo gloss or satin is for awards, sports banners, and anything that needs to look printed, not plotted. Choose Super heavyweight plus matte or Bond/coated to order online.

How Much Poster Paper Do I Need?

One 24″ roll of our Coated Poster Paper produces approximately 40 full-size school posters, enough for most classrooms for the better part of a year. To estimate your needs, divide your poster goal by 40 and round up. Planning 300 posters? You’ll want about 8 rolls. Need a hand sizing your order? Ask us about the Education Graphics Poster Maker and we’ll recommend the right paper package for your school.

Ink Types Explained for School Poster Printers

The ink in your poster maker affects color, fade resistance, and which papers you should stock. Education Graphics machines are supplied with genuine HP ink matched to the printer—so calibration stays accurate, hallway text stays sharp, and you avoid the warranty risk that often comes with off-brand refills. Use this overview to pick cartridges and paper together; shop cartridges on our ink product page.

Dye-based ink

Dye inks soak into coated and bond poster papers and produce bright classroom color at a low cost per print. They are the everyday choice for anchor charts, lesson posters, and indoor hallway displays that are refreshed through the year. Pair dye output with standard coated or bond rolls from the paper section above for the most economical school prints.

Pigment ink

Pigment inks sit more on the surface of the media and generally hold up better against light and moisture than dye. They are the better fit when posters must last through a full season in bright hallways, or when you print on specialty indoor media that needs richer blacks. Some Education Graphics models (including outdoor-focused configurations such as the Z6 with multiple pigment channels) are built around pigment performance—confirm the ink set for your exact machine before ordering.

Matching ink to paper and laminate

Coated and heavyweight papers are formulated for the ink your printer lays down; mixing random office paper with poster ink usually means dull color and wasted cartridges. If you laminate, let prints dry fully before cold or hot lamination so ink does not smear under film—see our cold vs hot lamination guide. For help matching a machine, ink set, and roll width, use how to choose a poster printer, or call 1-877-891-8411 with your model number before you PO supplies.

Ink Supplies for Your School Poster Maker

We supply genuine HP ink engineered for your poster maker. Original cartridges hold calibration, produce the sharp text and saturated color that reads from across a hallway, and won’t void your printer warranty the way third-party refills can. For guidance on matching supplies to your equipment, see choosing the right poster printer machine for your school.

Poster Printer Supplies FAQ

What supplies does a school poster printer need?

Paper, HP ink, and laminate. Start with coated paper for everyday classroom posters, a full CMYK ink set, and cold laminate if you want hallway signs to last the year. We match supplies to 24″ and 36″ Education Graphics machines and take school POs.

Which poster paper roll widths do you carry?

We sell poster paper in 24″, 36″ and 44″ roll widths.

How fast do poster printer supplies ship?

Every order ships within 24 hours of your PO, and shipping is free.

Coated vs. bond vs. photo paper: which is best for classroom posters?

Coated paper is the everyday choice for classroom posters, at about 40 posters per 24″ × 100′ roll. Bond is the budget option for drafts and worksheets. Photo gloss or satin is for awards, sports banners, and anything that needs to look printed, not plotted.

How much poster paper do I need?

Divide your poster goal by 40 and round up. One 24″ coated roll makes about 40 full-size posters, so 300 posters needs about 8 rolls.

Do I have to use genuine HP ink?

Yes for these machines. Third-party cartridges clog printheads and can void support. Black is 80 ml ($68.50); cyan, magenta, and yellow are 29 ml ($58.50). The 4-pack is $225.

Do you take school purchase orders?

Yes. Email the PO to sales@educationgraphicsolutions.com or call 1-877-891-8411. Title I and district POs are fine. Shipping is free.
