The EGS 25″ cold laminator is a roll laminator built for schools, media centers, and classroom labs. Because it laminates using pressure instead of heat, it’s the safe choice for the materials a hot laminator can warp, melt, or discolor — inkjet prints, photographs, vinyl, and anything heat-sensitive. If your school prints large-format posters and banners, cold lamination is what keeps those colors true and the surface flat.

Why Cold Instead of Hot?

Heat lamination can ruin certain prints — pigment and dye inks can shift color, and glossy or coated stock can bubble or curl under a hot roller. A cold laminator sidesteps all of that. It bonds the film at room temperature, so what comes out looks exactly like what went in, just sealed and protected. For schools laminating photo-quality posters, student artwork, or anything printed on specialty media, cold is the safer process.
